Alipal Tours
is me, Ali Bennett, a fully
qualified Member of the Institute of Tourist Guiding and Licensed Driver
Guide. This means I have completed the world renowned “Blue Badge” Guide
Training. I have been qualified since 2002.
My special fondness for
Americans, began when my father was a Military Attaché at the British
Embassy in Washington DC. We did not live in the usual British enclave, but
out of town in Potomac, Maryland.
Since then I have been
back many times to see friends in many parts of the country, including a
10,000 mile Greyhound Bus tour of North America in my late teens. One of my
sons has married an American girl and lives in Ann Arbor, MI. Every year I
go to the US promoting my services as a Blue Badge Driver Guide.
During
